and the colors of the Riviera

Strolling through colorful streets and a quiet beach, Anca’s lifestyle photo session captured the charm of the French coast.

Living just a short drive away in Nice, Anca is no stranger to the beauty of the French Riviera. Villefranche-sur-Mer, with its pastel facades and flower-filled alleyways, is nestled between the Mediterranean and the hills. This picturesque seaside village holds a certain charm, especially in early summer when the bougainvillea bursts into full bloom.

Our session wasn’t limited to the village. We also made our way to the beach, where contrary to what we had envisioned for a summer shoot, the light rain kept the beach nearly deserted, which is a rare sight for June. Yet, this change in atmosphere brought a different kind of beauty. The soft light added an air of tranquility and Anca’s joyful presence against the moody sea created a vibrant contrast.

Spending a day in Villefranche-sur-Mer with Anca Lungu felt like the perfect way to soak in the freshness of early summer. Her grace and natural charm made this shoot a dream, proving that true beauty isn’t just in the scenery but in the way we embrace the moment.
